License & credentials

VT licensing, in plain language.

Quick answers to what most candidates ask before they apply. Your recruiter walks you through the paperwork — we don't leave you alone with a state form.

  • I'm a CNA in another state. Can I work in Vermont?

In most cases yes, through the VT Board of Nursing's reciprocity process. We'll point you to the form and confirm a facility match before you file.

  • My LNA license lapsed. Now what?

Reinstatement is available within a defined window after expiration. Your recruiter checks the timeline against current Board rules and flags any required continuing education.

  • Do I need BLS / CPR certification?

BLS is preferred and required by some facilities. If you're close to start and don't have it yet, we can point you to local same-week courses.

  • Do I need TB / immunization records?

Yes — every facility we staff requires up-to-date documentation. Your recruiter tells you exactly what each site needs so you don't over-collect.

  • How does pay work between facilities?

You're on VEA's W-2. Same Wednesday direct deposit whether you're at one facility or rotating between three.
